Today in the second half of the day a telephone talk has been held between the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the President of Russian Federation Dmitriy Medvedev at the initiative of the Russian side.

The heads of states discussed a range of issues of bilateral relations of their countries and prospects of their further development in various spheres of cooperation.

The parties also exchanged views on situation in the world and the region.

In this context, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the President of Russian Federation accentuated specific aspects of regional interaction and supported further coordination of efforts of parties in this direction.
