Today, the meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Head of country’s Government Emomali Rahmon.
The staff of the Organizing Committee on celebration of the 20th anniversary of the 16th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan has been approved. Headed by the Prime Minister of the country Oqil Oqilov, it includes the officials from the Government and Parliament, Executive Office of the President and leaders of a number of national ministries and agencies.
The report of the Chairman of Committee for Environment Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan has been heard on the course of implementation of State Program for Development of Specially Protected Nature Territories for 2005-2015. The Head of state Emomali Rahmon gave concrete instructions to the officials for effective organization of activities of wildlife reserves, recalculation of the number of rare animals and birds, as well as increase of their population.
Further, the Chairman of Qumsangir district of Khatlon region reported on the fulfillment of decrees of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on distribution of land to the population for construction of living quarters. As mentioned, from 467 hectares of allocated land 80 percent have been distributed to 1933 needy families. According to the head of district, a new area will be built at the expense of the allocated lands for the young teachers and doctors also on the instructions of the Head of state Emomali Rahmon.
The decrees of the Government for participation of the Republic of Tajikistan in the World Exhibition EXPO “Yosu-2012” in city of Yosu of the Republic of Korea and celebration of the 3000th anniversary of Hissor in 2015 have also been approved.
As it was accentuated, the entire territory of Hissor must be rendered beautiful and well-planned, and its center should become a modern attractive town till September 2015.
Land has been allocated for Isfara, Ishkoshim, and Rushon with the view of distribution of household plots to the population. Moreover, 855 hectares have been allocated for 5555 families in Isfara district, 91 hectares for 346 families in Ishkoshim district, and 25 hectares for 417 families in Rushon district.
