The President of the country Emomali Rahmon received the First Vice President of Export-Import Bank of the People’s Republic of China Zhu Hongjie in the second half of day.

The issues of bilateral cooperation have been discussed at the meeting.

It was noted with satisfaction that owing to preferential credits of this bank large-scale projects for construction of 500 kV South-North, 220 kV Lolazor-Khatlon and Khujand-Aini power transmission lines have been completed, the reconstruction of automobile roads Dushanbe-Chanok, Dushanbe-Danghara-Kulyab-Khorugh-Kulma, automobile tunnels Shahriston and Chormaghzak, and the implementation of other projects is being successfully continued. Both parties expressed interest in further strengthening and enhancing of beneficial cooperation in spheres of road construction, energy, mining industry, processing of agricultural products, etc.
