This morning, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon left for a working trip to a number of cities and districts of the Badakhshan mountainous autonomous Region and to  get direct acquaintance with the situation of the population and the progress of orders and instructions of the President, voiced during previous trips, as well as to promote the socio-economic and cultural development of this Region.

Working trip of Head of State Emomali Rahmon will continue from 28 to 31 July in Vanj, Darvoz, Rushan, Shugnan, Roshtkala and Khorog city.

During this trip, President Emomali Rahmon will give start to the beginning of a series of important social activities of various facilities, and will meet and hold talks with residents of towns and districts of the region.

President Emomali Rahmon in Vanj, Darvoz, Shugnan districts will also get acquainted with the situation in the aftermath of natural disasters and provide material and moral assistance to affected residents, as well as with the construction of new housing for families left homeless.
