President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a congratulatory telegram to the President of the French Republic François Gérard Georges Hollande, which states, in particular:

I am sincerely glad to cordially congratulate You and the friendly French people on the occasion of the national holiday of the French Republic, the anniversary of Storming of the Bastille.

Tajikistan highly appreciates the level of its relations with the French Republic, considers France as its important and reliable partner in Europe, and is interested in the steady expansion of relations and cooperation spheres.

We are satisfied with the level of bilateral relations, and convinced that the use of new opportunities for the further expansion of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation in the interests of both countries will contribute to strengthening of peace, stability and fruitful constructive relations in the region.
