The President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the Minister of Water and Energy of Kuwait Ahmad Al-Jassor, who arrived in Dushanbe as part of the official delegation of the Arab country for participation in the High Level Conference on the results of the implementation of the International Decade for Action "Water for Life".

The sides discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Kuwait in the fields of politics, economy, trade, investment, science and technology.

Particular attention was paid to the practical implementation of the signed bilateral documents, including the results of the two official visits of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to Kuwait and the visit of Kuwaiti Foreign Minister to Tajikistan.
