At the meeting of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon with the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakitzhan Sagintayev were discussed issues of developing relations between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.

Head of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, in particular, stated that "We believe Kazakhstan a reliable partner in the region and are ready to expand constructive and mutually beneficial relationship with it."

They expressed satisfaction with the presence of a favorable framework for cooperation and instruments of expansion of relations between public authorities and business circles of the two countries.

Particular attention was paid to the expansion of cooperation in the mining and chemical industries, construction, pharmaceuticals, electricity, machinery, etc.
