Meeting with Tajik students studying in universities of Korea

In the afternoon, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with Tajik students studying in higher education institutions of the Republic of Korea.

The meeting with President Emomali Rahmon was attended by more than 60 Tajik students studying in this developed country.

It should be noted that in Korea now are studying more than 100 Tajik students.

President Emomali Rahmon in his speech, recalling the notable achievements of the state independence of Tajikistan in various spheres, noted that today only with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan over 30 thousand Tajik students are studying in foreign countries, including in the developed countries of Europe, America and Asia.

According to President Emomali Rahmon, in the future will increase the number of quotas for Tajik students in the Republic of Korea. However, it was pointed out that at the stage of the study is the question of establishing direct flights between Tajikistan and Korea.

As part of the meeting between the Ministry of Transport of Tajikistan and the Korean Aviation University was signed an agreement on the preparation of the Tajik cadres in this area.

It was noted that in the present conditions of the aviation sector in Tajikistan it is very important to increase the number of young cadres in this sphere.
