In Seoul for the first time a building of the Embassy of Tajikistan to the Republic of Korea has been opened with the participation of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
The opening ceremony was held with the participation of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, other officials accompanying Head of State, deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Cho Tae-yul and other officials of the host country as well as diplomatic corps in Seoul.
Head of state Emomali Rahmon named the opening of the Embassy of Tajikistan in Korea as an important factor for the further expansion of wide-ranging relations between the two countries and expressed confidence that in the nearest future, according to achieved agreements, the resident Embassy of Korea and office of KOICA will be opened in Dushanbe.
