Today, President Emomali Rahmon arrived in Sughd Region in order to participate in national celebrations dedicated to the international holiday of Navruz.

At the airport of the city of Khujand President Emomali Rahmon was met with particular Navruz splendor and in the best traditions of national hospitality.

During the holidays the Head of State in the regional center and in several towns and districts of Sughd region will participate in Navruz celebrations, as well as the commissioning of a number of newly built objects.

The first festive object was put into operation at the international airport in the city of Khujand. This object is configured to receive high dignitaries and has all the necessary facilities that meet international standards.
