In the afternoon, President Emomali Rahmon, laying a foundation stone and capsule with a message to future generations, has started the construction of the National Theatre of Tajikistan, which will be built next to the National Museum of Tajikistan and the National Park of the Flag of Tajikistan.

It was noted that the building of the National Theatre of Tajikistan will have two underground floors and five floors and its height will be of 34.5 meters.

According to the project, the building of the theater includes 3 large halls, many other halls and rooms. The main hall of the theater will have 2,500 seats and two other halls - 1200 and 1000, respectively. The height of the main hall will be of 16-18 meters, the length and width will be 30x21,6 meters. The main hall will also have an orchestra pit, stage of 2 sides, rehearsal halls, and other necessary conditions of international level.

The upper floors will house exhibition and art halls, as well as space for rehearsals, art workshop and other facilities.

In the underground floors will be located parking for 250 cars, as well as many technical and outbuildings. The theater building will be equipped with heating, ventilation, air conditioning and other necessary networks.
