Telegram of condolences to President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Muhammad Ashraf Ghani

Today, President Emomali Rahmon sent a telegram of condolences to President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Muhammad Ashraf Ghani, which reads, in particular:

"Your Excellency,
 
We are deeply saddened by the news of the heavy snowfall and avalanches in the northeast of the friendly country, which have led to the loss of hundreds of people and considerable material damage.
 
I would like to ask Your Excellency to convey our heartfelt condolences to the brotherly people of Afghanistan. May the Almighty bestow patience and perseverance to friends and relatives of the victims.
 
Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun (Verily we belong to Allah and to Him will be returned)".
