Today, President Emomali Rahmon received for conversation 132 representatives of the judiciary, appointed to the positions of judges and deputy judges, judges of regional, city, district, economic and military courts.
At the beginning of the meeting was read a decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on the appointment and dismissal of judges and heads of courts of regions, as well as a number of cities and districts.
Of the 132 persons 49 have been for the first time appointed as a judge, six of whom are women.
President Emomali Rahmon in his speech, recalling the concerns of the country's leadership with respect to the judiciary and workers, including those concerning the improvement of working conditions, empowerment of judges, increasing their wages, gave them specific tasks to ensure the rule of law in society, raise the legal culture of citizens, especially young people, to protect impartially human rights and freedoms, defend the interests of the state, enterprises, organizations and institutions.
