The President of the Republic of Tajikistan signed a decree concerning the Program of judicial reform in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2015-2017.

This program is a continuation of previous programs of judicial reforms, designed to meet the learning of experience of developed countries, the analysis of structures and activities of the courts examining the activities of other law enforcement agencies related to judicial activities. It provides for the further development of procedural legislation, improving the structure and activity of the Supreme Court and the Supreme Economic Court, regional, city and district courts, the reform of the system of juvenile justice, measures to ensure the enforcement of judicial decisions, improving the structure and activities of bailiffs, enhancing the provision of legal assistance to the population, improving the quality of judicial expertise, logistics of courts, social protection of judges and court officials, as well as other areas of the judiciary.

An action plan is attached to the program, which specifies a list of events, time and responsible persons for enforcement.

This program is aimed at further strengthening of justice, protection of human rights and freedoms, interests of the state and institutions, strengthening of crime prevention and public safety.
