Today, President Emomali Rahmon visited the central headquarters of the National Guard of Tajikistan, where he took part in celebrations dedicated to the 19th anniversary of the formation of this special military unit.

President Emomali Rahmon directly got acquainted with the conditions of service, training and permanent deployment of military units of the National Guard, gave specific instructions to the responsible persons to further improve them.

Museum of the National Guard, decorated with monuments, pictures and images of ancient and modern history of the Tajiks, shows that in the National Guard Tajikistan pays special attention to foster a sense of patriotism of personnel by examining multi-millennial history of the Tajik people.

Training Center of the National Guard is provided with classes equipped with samples of various military vehicles and equipment, experienced teachers and other necessary conditions for theoretical and practical training of personnel.

During 19 years of its existence, and units of the National Guard of Tajikistan, taking an active part in various military special operations, joint military exercises at various ranges of the republic, have gone through numerous military trials.
