From Khuroson district Head of state Emomali Rahmon arrived in Bokhtar district and first visited the military unit 07017 of the Ministry of Defense.

During a conversation with officers and soldiers, it was in particular reminded that the personnel of this military unit since the very first days of its establishment has made a remarkable contribution in the restoration of constitutional authority of Tajikistan, and today this military unit has been provided with heavy military machinery, best modern weapons and munitions. Its personnel thus is militarily strongly prepared.

In the premises of this military unit Head of state Emomali Rahmon opened a new military multi-profile Khatlon garrison clinic which has been titled the friendship clinic of Tajikistan and India.

As it was informed, this clinic has been constructed and equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment equipment in shortest time under the funding of the Government of India. The clinic has 50 beds.

73 high-level specialists of India will work in this clinic during two years, and they will teach their Tajik colleagues for work in the newest technology and equipment installed here.

In village jamoat of Bustonqala of Bokhtar district a state institution of boarding home for elderly mental patients has been opened with the participation of President Emomali Rahmon.

As it was noted, this institution of permanent stay for elderly disabled, mentally ill persons has 100 beds. The institution has been built at the expense of 14,5 mln. TJS of budgetary means.

The building and facilities of the boarding home is complex with modern design conforming to social facilities. The complex consists of 4 residential buildings, 1 administrative building, and 1 building for canteen and sports hall.

In Bokhtar district Head of state Emomali Rahmon visited the headquarters of special military unit of militia of the Department of Interior of Khatlon region and commissioned its new building.

In the courtyard of the militia unit HQ President Emomali Rahmon first took part in the wedding and circumcision celebrations of children of officers of the sphere.

As it was discovered, here the wedding ceremony of 8 young girls from needy families and 8 officers of special militia unit, as well as circumcision of 22 boys from families of officers has been held.

The fields for exercises to enhance the military capabilities of officers of the unit are located in the territory of HQ.

Here President Emomali Rahmon officially opened a new building of the militia unit which consists of three floors, sports hall, working offices, and other rooms.

It was informed that over 3 mln. TJS has been spent for construction and equipment of the building.

Today, in jamoat Mehnatobod of Bokhtar district a comprehensive school #12 was put into operation by President Emomali Rahmon.

It was noted that this educational facility has been constructed at the expense of almost 14 mln. TJS of joint funding of Saudi Development Fund and the Government of Tajikistan.

The school has all necessary conditions for almost 2400 pupils in two shifts, including 4 educational corps, 40 equipped classrooms, 10 subject laboratories, assembly hall, sports hall and stadium and other subsidiary facilities.
