Today, President Emomali Rahmon left for Qurghonteppa area of Khatlon Region for acquaintance with living standards of people and expansion of construction works.

The working trip of Head of state Emomali Rahmon began with Panj district. The administration of Khatlon region and Panj district as well as representatives of village communities warmly received President of the country.

First, a new modern hotel Panj was opened in the center of Panj district with the participation of head of state. This facility has been built by local businessman Abdusalim Kalandarov in the area of 2000 square meters.

As it was informed, this hotel has two floors and it has been built and equipped at the expense of 2 mln. 700 thousand TJS. The hotel has 26 rooms. 15 persons have been provided with regular jobs here.

Afterwards, a trade center Fayzi Kabir was inaugurated in the center of Panj town by the President of the country Emomali Rahmon. This center has been constructed by local entrepreneur Fayziddin Kabirov at the expense of 2,5 mln. TJS. It consists of three floors and its first floor has 12 shops for sales of technical items, home appliances, carpets, perfumes and other products and materials. Its second floor accommodates a restaurant with 100 seats. 30 persons – residents of Panj town of Panj district of Khatlon region has been provided with jobs and good salary in the Fayzi Kabir trade center.

A weaving workshop was also commissioned in town community of Panj with the participation of President Emomali Rahmon. It has been built on the basis of a two-storey building of trade service enterprise of consumption company of Panj district. As it was mentioned, this enterprise was inactive for many years. Currently, after a complete reparation and renovation this building has resumed its activities by providing more than 25 local girls with jobs and good salaries.

This weaving workshop deals with production of school and business uniforms for different spheres, including healthcare and production enterprises, as well as beautiful women dresses with different decorations.
