Today, President Emomali Rahmon granted state awards, honorary degrees, state prizes, and special senior military ranks of the Republic of Tajikistan to a large number of employees in various areas of the country on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the state independence of Tajikistan.

Before the award ceremony, President Emomali Rahmon, delivering a speech, named holding of the ceremony in a solemn atmosphere as a sign of supreme honoring of people's services by the leadership of the state and the Government of Tajikistan.

In general, 160 representatives of various sectors of the public, including representatives of science and culture, education, health, social protection, agriculture, construction, industry, energy, security forces and law enforcement agencies were presented with state awards, honorary degrees and national awards by President Emomali Rahmon at the Palace of Nation.
