Meeting with speakers of both chambers of Bahrain’s Parliament

This morning, in Manama President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held constructive meetings with speakers of both chambers of Bahrain’s parliament.

At the meeting with Speaker of Assembly of Representatives of the Kingdom of Bahrain Khalifa ibn Ahmad Zahrani the issues related to inter-parliamentary cooperation, strengthening of legal-treaty basis of ties between the two countries, and the ways to fruitfully implement newly signed documents were considered.

Both sides stressed their interest in the expansion of cooperation in the spheres of policy, economy, trade, investment, education, health, science and culture.

On this and other issues of mutual interest President Emomali Rahmon had another meeting with Speaker of Consultative Board of National Assembly (upper chamber of Parliament) of the Kingdom of Bahrain Ali ibn Saleh Al-Saleh.
