Participation in Tajikistan-Bahrain Business Forum

The second day of official visit of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the Kingdom of Bahrain began with his participation in the large Business Forum of the two countries.

From both sides this event was attended by more than 200 businessmen and traders.

Head of state Emomali Rahmon spoke at the forum and personally presented political and legal climate for business and investment of Tajikistan to authoritative businessmen of Bahrain and invited them to establish and expand mutually beneficial cooperation.

As it was mentioned, more than 40 privileges have been conferred to foreign investors and businessmen in Tajikistan over the several last years through the implementation of serious reforms.

During the speech by Minister of Industry and Commerce of Bahrain Hassan Fakhru and questions and answers session with businessmen of this developed Arab country, it was in particular discovered that they are very interested in investment and establishment of cooperation in the promising areas of Tajikistan, including electrical energy, oil and gas, agriculture, mining industry, and processing of agricultural products, tourism and export of drinking water from Tajikistan to this country.

Many other meetings and talks have been held between the businessmen and traders of both countries during which many cooperation arrangements have been reached.
