Today, in Dusti square of the capital the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon congratulated the people of Tajikistan on the occasion of the 20th anniversary since the establishment of Border Troops of the republic and viewed the military parade held on this occasion.

Solemn military parade on the occasion of the 20th anniversary since the establishment of Border Troops of Tajikistan began with report of the Head of Military Garrison of Dushanbe general-major Bakhtiyor Ruzmonshoev to the Commander of Border Troops general-lieutenant Rajabali Rahmonali on the readiness of units.

Head of state Emomali Rahmon during his congratulatory speech noted in particular that the Border Troops of Tajikistan were established under very difficult conditions of the first years of state independence of the country on the empty basis, without material and technical base, and after 20 years as a result of every-day efforts have become a powerful force of protection of the frontier of our dear Motherland.

More than 10 thousand officers and soldiers of Tajikistan took part in the official military parade and demonstrated their high professionalism and sincerety to their dear Motherland.
