In the afternoon, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received in Shanghai city of China the President of Zijin Mining Board of Directors Wan Jenhua.

The issues of current state and prospects of activities of Joint Enterprise Zarafshon have been reviewed at the meeting.

It was noted with satisfaction that over 7 years of activities in this joint enterprise Zijin Mining Company invested more than 235 mln. USD and provided over 2200 citizens of Tajikistan with jobs. Works on enriching of minerals, affinage of gold and silver and other works have been set up at the venture. In the future here the workshop of copper processing with an annual capacity of 10 thousand tons will be constructed.
