In the afternoon President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received in Kabul the Minister of Finance of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Hazrat Omar Zahilval.

The sides discussed the issues of economic and trade cooperation and joint attraction of investments for implementation of regional infrastructure projects, including in the spheres of transport and energy.

The soonest and fruitful implementation of projects for laying out CASA-1000 power transmission lines, railway Tajikistan-Afghanistan-Turkmenistan, gas pipeline from Afghanistan to Tajikistan and other regional projects have been evaluated for the benefit of both friendly countries.

The sides also exchanged their views on cooperation for fruitful holding of RECCA-6 Conference in Afghanistan.
