Meeting with President of Czech Republic Milosh Zeman

Today, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in Sochi of Russian Federation met with the President of Czech Republic Milosh Zeman.

The sides considered bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries at the meeting.

Both sides expressed their joy over the consistency of beneficial political ties and at the same time stressed their interest in the development of cooperation in the areas of economy, trade, investment, industry, agriculture and other domains.

It was expressed confidence that the official visit of Czech President to Tajikistan to be held autumn this year will give an impetus to the expansion of friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries.

Milosh Zeman warmly recalled his previous visits to Dushanbe and stated that “will wholeheartedly visit again this beautiful city and lay foundation to the enhancement of beneficial relations”.

A constructive talk also took place on the development of cooperation in the framework of the European Union, the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, and regional integration in Afghanistan and Central Asia.
