This morning an enlarged meeting of the Government of Tajikistan began its work chaired by the President of Tajikistan, Head of Government Emomali Rahmon, during which the results of socio-economic development in 2013 will be examined and analyzed, as well as tasks for 2014 will be specified.

The presidency and members of the Government, heads of departments under the President of Tajikistan and the Government of the country, officials of the Executive Office of the President, chairmen of regions, cities and districts, directors of centers for the implementation of investment projects, higher education schools, banks, official newspapers and other relevant officials have come to the meeting.

At first the meeting heard the report of the Prime Minister of the country Qohir Rasulzoda. As it was mentioned, the rate of economic growth of the country in 2013 has made up 7,4% and the GDP has reached more than 40,5 billion Somoni. The inflation rate has made up 3,7%, while in 2012 this indicator equaled 6,4%.

The Minister of Finance Abdusalom Kurbonov reported that the state budget for 2013 has been overfulfilled and its volume has reached 11,5 billion Somoni that is almost for two billion Somoni more compared to the same indicator of 2012.

The report of the Chairman of Tax Committee Nusratullo Davlatov has revealed that regardless of non-fulfillment of tax plan by a number of great enterprises and a part of cities and districts, in general the plan for collection of taxes in the republic has been overfulfilled.

During the report of the Head of Customs Service Rustami Emomali, it was in particular noted that the plan for customs fees has been fulfilled in the volume of 3 billion 241 million Somoni and it is for 496 million Somoni more compared to annual plan. As it was informed, currently Tajikistan has commercial relations with more than 100 countries, and the trade turnover in 2013 made up over 5 billion 301 million US Dollars.
