The President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has sent a congratulatory message to the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Angela Merkel, which reads, in part:

“Your Excellency,

Please accept my sincere congratulations on the occasion of your repeated election to the office of Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany.

I am sure that in the new phase of activities of the Government of Germany under your leadership bilateral mutually beneficial relations between the two friendly countries will develop and expand. Strengthening of such relations in different spheres will further be in the center of our joint efforts”.
