President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has sent a letter of condolences to the President of South African Republic Jacob Zuma, which reads, in part:

“Your Excellency,

It is with deep sadness that I have found the news about the demise of former President of the South African Republic Nelson Mandela.

The name of this man of time was the flag of freedom fighters of the whole world for many decades.

This great man’s place in our hearts will be empty forever.

Excellency,

Please accept our repeated condolences and sincere sympathy and pass on our words of compassion to relatives, friends and followers of the deceased”.
