Today, the first meeting of a new Government of Tajikistan has been held chaired by President, head of Government Emomali Rahmon.

At the beginning of the meeting head of state Emomali Rahmon congratulated the presidency and members of the new Government of Tajikistan on their worthy appointment to these high-level positions and on the commencement of activities of the Government of the country in new composition.

It should be reminded that to date the establishment of a new Government of Tajikistan in the composition of Prime Minister, First Deputy Prime Minister and his three deputies, 14 ministers and three chairmen of state committees, in general 22 persons has been finished. 13 members of the Government or 60 percent of its composition have been replaced.

The meeting considered the urgent issues of the Government of Tajikistan, as well as a number of appointments have been announced during it.
