Today, President Emomali Rahmon received the UN Secretary General Special Representative for Afghanistan Jan Kubis.

At the beginning Yan Kubis repeatedly congratulated head of Tajik State Emomali Rahmon on his victory at the presidential elections and wished success and implementation of plans for him and his people.

During the meeting various issues related the current situation in Afghanistan and its prospects, including ensuring security and stability and socio-economic development in this country after 2014 have been considered.

Constructive talk has also taken place on the overall situation in the region and other issues of mutual interest.
