Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Angela Merkel has congratulated the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on his re-election and stressed with satisfaction that the friendly relations between Germany and Tajikistan are always in the process of development and expansion. German Chancellor stated that the both sides should further take joint efforts for strengthening of such cooperation.

In their congratulatory telegrams, Emir of State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Prince of State of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Prime Minister of State of Kuwait Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, have joyously and sincerely felicitated the head of Tajik state Emomali Rahmon on his re-election to the office of the President of Tajikistan and wished in fulfillment of his tasks for achievement of further progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Tajikistan every success. They highly evaluated the level of friendly relations between the State of Kuwait and Tajikistan and expressed readiness to strengthen and expand bilateral cooperation in all spheres of mutual interest.
