President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovich has addressed a congratulatory telegram to the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, which reads, in part:

“Dear Emomali Sharipovich,

Please accept my felicitations on the occasion of your re-election to the post of President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Your absolute victory shows the support of people of Tajikistan towards your policy directed at the effective economic progress of the country and enhancement of welfare of its citizens.

I am convinced that constructive cooperation between Ukraine and Tajikistan in all areas of mutual interest will further develop on the basis of friendly relations and mutual understanding”.

In his congratulatory telegram Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan has expressed his sincere felicitations to President Emomali Rahmon on his re-election and wished that the results of elections bring happiness and prosperity to the people of Tajikistan.
