In his telegram President of Turkey Abdulla Gul congratulated Emomali Rahmon personally and on behalf of Turkish people on the occasion of re-election as the President of Tajikistan.

President of Turkey has expressed his full confidence that in this new phase of relations head of Tajik state will take every effort to strengthen and expand friendly and brotherly relations between the two nations.

Dmitry Mezentsev, Shanghai Cooperation Organization Secretary General felicitated the newly elected President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and assured that the presidency of Tajikistan in SCO will ensure the deepening of mutual multidimensional cooperation in the Organization’s sphere, new quality of cooperation in the area of regional security and new scale of relations in the social, economic, cultural and humanitarian domains, as well as give an impulse to the interaction with observer states and dialogue partners in SCO.
