Today, President Emomali Rahmon visited Khovaling district of Khatlon region, where he took part in the beginning of reconstruction of automobile road Vose-Khovaling, commissioning of a Center for Support of Children with Limited Abilities with 120 places, opening of a boarding school for 320 pupils, a new building of branch of Agroinvestbank and a number of production enterprises, including one bakery, enterprise for processing of medicative herbs, jewelers enterprise and a sewing workshop.

During the solemn ceremony of commencement of reconstruction of road, it was in particular mentioned that this 87-km road and section of Sayron-Qaramiq of highway Dushanbe-Rasht-Jirgatol-border with Kyrgyzstan are being reconstructed at the expense of more than 89 million USD. From this amount 19 million USD is contribution of Government of Tajikistan and 70 million USD is grant aid of ADB.

In the afternoon head of state Emomali Rahmon in Khovaling district visited the sepulcher of Hazrat Sulton Uvaisi Qarani. He also got familiarized with two one-storied buildings with three apartments each, which have been constructed as a hotel for reception of guests of this sepulcher. President of Tajikistan gave constructive instructions on beautification of this site and on construction of a multi-storied hotel with modern conditions of permanent stay and recreation here.
