Today, in the framework of his working trip to district of Rasht region President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon visited Tavildara district, where he commissioned an Interior Affairs Division, a central stadium (with a total area of 2 thousand 584 sq. m.), a solemn two-storied cultural palace, and attended an exhibition of agricultural goods of Tavildara.

Moreover, a meeting of head of state took place with the activists of Tavildara district in a big hall of newly commissioned Cultural Palace.

It was in particular mentioned in the presidential speech that over the years of independence, especially since 1995 over 118 million somoni of budgetary means have been directed at the socio-economic progress of Tavildara district.
