Today, President Emomali Rahmon received the parliamentary delegation of France from Group of Friendship “France and Central Asia headed by Senator Andre Dulait.
The issues related to bilateral cooperation in the spheres of policy, regional security, economy and investments, science and technologies, and expansion of inter-parliamentary ties have been reviewed at the meeting.
“Relations between Tajikistan and France have sustainably developed over the recent years”, - noted with satisfaction head of state Emomali Rahmon.
According to Andre Dulait, “France and its Parliament are ready to continuously support the stable socio-economic progress of Tajikistan”.
Fruitful activities of internationally recognized French companies, such as TOTAL and ALSTOM in Tajikistan was called as an evidence of commencement of a comprehensive economic, investment and technological cooperation between the two countries. As Andre Dulait stressed, “also many other companies from France are interested in the economy of Tajikistan, particularly in the domain of its mining industry.
A constructive talk took place on current situation in Afghanistan and its prospects, enhancement of bilateral and multilateral interaction in this direction, as well as on other subjects of mutual interest.
