Today, President Emomali Rahmon has arrived in Yovon district of Khatlon region to take part in the opening ceremony of huge cement manufacturing enterprise constructed by national company Ghayur and Huaxin cement company of the People’s Republic of China with the capacity of 1 million tons annually, as well as with the view of getting familiarized with living standards of the population.

The working trip to Yovon district began from participation in the charity collective wedding ceremony of 10 young couples and circumcision ceremony of 150 small children from needy families.  

In the center of Yovon district a sports complex Foram has been inaugurated with the participation of head of state Emomali Rahmon. It has been constructed by local businessmen.

Head of state presented a student of Physical Training Institute from Yovon district Nusratsho Imomov, who occupied the third place in sambo during the world university sports contests in Kazan city, with an automobile.
