During the meeting with member of French National Assembly and Special Representative of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Thierry Mariani different issues of cooperation have been discussed.

Main attention was focused on the issues of cooperation in the areas of regional policy and security, economy and trade, investment, water and energy, and ecology.

The introduction of French oil and gas company “Total”, which has a world prestige, into the economy of Tajikistan was named an outstanding step in the way of attraction of European and international investments into oil and gas sector of our country.

A constructive talk was also held on the issues of expansion of parliamentary relations and other subjects of mutual interest.
