President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has address a congratulatory telegram to the newly elected President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain, which reads, in particular:

Allow me to express you my kindest regards and sincere felicitations on the occasion of your election to the high post of President of Pakistan.

We strongly believe in bright future of wide-ranging relations between Tajikistan and Pakistan and will take consistent efforts for their development and deepening.

Availing this opportunity, I would to express confidence that the ties between our countries due to our joint regular efforts and measures in the areas of mutual interest have gained a concrete content and are rapidly growing and enhancing.

I wish Your Excellency strong health, happiness, and peace, stability, progress and welfare to the friendly people of Pakistan”.
