Telephone reports of the chairman of GBAO Region Qodiri Qosim and chairmen of districts of Kuhistoni Mastchoh, Jirgatol, Tojikobod and Rasht have been heard today by President Emomali Rahmon.

During the report of the chairman of Badakhshan Mountainous Autonomous Region Qodiri Qosim main attention was paid to the course of construction works, including construction of numerous facilities, which is conducted with financial republican budget support in cities and districts of this region, as well as to full and timely collection of agricultural good and preparations for winter season.

During the reports of chairmen of districts of Kuhistoni Mastchoh, Jirgatol, Tojikobod and Rasht, whose people mostly deal with potato growing, particular attention was accorded to this sector of agriculture. It was stressed that these districts should play a pivotal role in the implementation of State Programme for Development of Potato Growing for 2012-2016, including through the achievement of 1 million tons of annual collection of potato in the republic.
