A new “Capital” enterprise has been commissioned with the participation of President Emomali Rahmon in Shahrinav district, which will deal with processing of oil (petroleum) and production of final good from it.

This enterprise has been constructed with import of newest models of classical technologies of oil processing from Russian Federation jointly with private entrepreneurs of this country from Tomsk city at the expense of more than 70 million TJS in the area of 10 ha of barren, inactive land.

With its current output capacity, the enterprise is able to process annually 100 thousand tons of raw petroleum and produce from it two types of diesel fuel (summer and winter types), petrol of AI 80 type and high-quality mazut. Currently, 111 specialists and workers have been provided with work here, from among whom majority are citizens of Tajikistan and mainly from local population.

As it was informed, the enterprise’s capacity will be raised to 300 thousand tons annually and the number of its workers to 300 in the nearest future. Head of state instructed to fulfil this work before the end 2014.
