The President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent to the President of France Francois Gerard Georges Hollande a congratulatory telegram, which reads, in particular:

In connection with the national holiday of your country – the anniversary of storming of the Bastille, I have the honor to extend to you and the friendly people of France my sincere congratulations and best wishes.

We recognize the French Republic as our long-standing and loyal partner in the international arena, appreciate its continued support and assistance in strengthening the foundations of the sovereignty of the Republic of Tajikistan.

It is gratifying that today the relations between our two countries, thanks to our constant conscientious efforts in the framework of mutually beneficial cooperation between the parties, have found the specific content and tend to develop sustainably.
