Today, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the Minister of Emergency Situations and Civil Defence of Azerbaijan Kamaladdin Fattah Heydarov.

During the meeting an exchange of views has been held on the mutual study of experience on prevention of emergency situations and strengthening of rescue operations, rendering material and technical aid for elimination of natural disasters, and preparation of highly qualified specialists of the sphere.

Moreover, the current state and prospects of wide-ranging cooperation between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan in different areas of mutual advantage have been considered as well as the necessity of activization of work of intergovernmental commissions on economic and trade cooperation has been highlighted.
