Today, two multi-storied residential buildings and a sports complex of the Ministry of Interior have been opened in Dushanbe city with the participation of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

With the view of opening these buildings and congratulating lucky families, head of state Emomali Rahmon firstly visited Abdurahmoni Jomi Street of the capital and put in commission a nine-storied building.

During the acquaintance with a design of the building and conditions of the apartments, it was in particular informed that this building is composed of one- and two-room apartments, which are mainly provided for young qualified officers. The building has been constructed and designed in a modern and beautiful style. It is also partly provided with furniture. It has an integrated, autonomous system of heating, thus providing through its energy saving devices with hot water and heating. This beautiful building has been built in one and a half year at the expense of more than 10,5 million TJS.

The Direction for construction of governmental objects of the Executive Office of the President of Tajikistan and contractor organization have been assigned at the instruction of the Tajik President Emomali Rahmon to construct in one year another two similar residential buildings for the families of military and law enforcement structures.

Then head of state Emomali Rahmon came to Ayni Street of the capital and opened a ten-storied residential building of the State Unitary Enterprise “Railways of Tajikistan”.

As it was informed, this building consists of three parts and has been erected at the expense of 18 million TJS of funds of SUE “Railways of Tajikistan”. It has 90 apartments with one to four rooms.

On the same day, a sports complex of the Ministry of Interior has also been commissioned after its complete renovation with the participation of President Emomali Rahmon.

This complex now has an equipped weight-lifting hall, a hall for different kinds of gushtin (wrestling), a big hall for different kinds of sports like mini-football, valleyball, basketball, handball, which has 200 seats available, as well as a hall for different kinds of water sports.
