Today, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the Chairman of Chamber of Accounts of the Russian Federation Sergey Stepashin.

Different issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia have been discussed during the talks.

Sergey Stepashin and his colleague from Tajikistan, Director of Agency for State Financial Inspection and Fight against Corruption Fattoh Saidov at first reported to the Head of Tajik State Emomali Rahmon on the process and results of auditing of military base of Russia. Sergey Stepashin expressed his satisfaction with the conditions created for Russian military base and thanked the President of the country Emomali Rahmon.

Much attention was also paid to enhancing and expanding interaction between the relevant structures of Tajikistan and Russia in fight against transnational economic and corruption crimes, prevention of financing terrorism and extremism, as well as the current situation in Afghanistan.
