At the meeting with State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Khaled bin Mohammed Al-Atiya the questions of developing cooperation between the two friendly countries were discussed.

“We attach a particular significance to the development of friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation with the State of Qatar and we feel the same approach from your state with regard to Tajikistan”, - stated President Emomali Rahmon.

Much attention was focused on the issues of construction of Dushanbe mosque and residential and commercial town of Diyori Dushanbe, which is conducted by the direct investment of Qatar.
