At the meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, Sheikh Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah the issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation were discussed.

“Tajikistan, in the framework of its “open-doors” foreign policy” focuses priority attention to the development of friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation with Arab countries, particularly the State of Kuwait and other countries of the Gulf basin.

Particular attention was paid to the establishment and enhancement of reciprocal cooperation in economic, trade and investment fields.

It was expressed confidence that the forthcoming visits of the heads of both countries to each other’s capitals will further strengthen this process and other aspects of cooperation between Tajikistan and Kuwait.
