At the meeting with former Prime Minister of Thailand Thaksin Shinawatra, who is one of the founders of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue, the issues of cooperation in the framework of the mentioned organization, as well as bilateral cooperation of Tajikistan and Thailand were considered.

It was expressed satisfaction over the development of beneficial cooperation between the two countries, which gained its impetus since the official visit of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to Thailand in August 2005.

It was expressed confidence that the future visit of the current Prime Minister of Thailand Yinglak Shinawatra will further strengthen this process.
