In the afternoon, the President of the country Emomali Rahmon received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Erlan Idrisov, who paid an official visit to Tajikistan.

The issues of wide-ranging Tajik-Kazakh cooperation were reviewed at the meeting.

President Emomali Rahmon called the cooperation of Tajikistan with Kazakhstan “as a good example of constructive regional cooperation” and expressed confidence that further friendly relations between the two countries will strengthen.

Erland Idrisov characterized the accession of Tajikistan to the WTO and the holding of the ACD session of Foreign Ministers in Dushanbe as an evidence of enhancement of international authority of our country and congratulated the Head of State Emomali Rahmon and the Tajik people on important global achievements.
