Today, the President of the country Emomali Rahmon initiated the construction of a big trading centre and officially opened a central bus terminal of the capital in Dushanbe City.
The Head of State Emomali Rahmon at first visited Kahhorov street of the capital for commencement of construction of a modern Trading centre. Here, first of all the ceremony of presentation of numerous projects for construction of a school, hospital, and other social and cultural facilities, as well as multistoried residential buildings with sports fields and playgrounds for children, administrative and trading facilities and others has been held. The leadership and officials of construction and architecture sphere of Dushanbe City, reporting to the President of the country Emomali Rahmon, noted in particular that during the several coming years the appearance of many streets and avenues of the capital, including the Rudaki avenue and Sadriddin Aini street will be completely changed and become a lot more beautiful and attractive.
Then, the President of the country Emomali Rahmon, laying a foundation stone and letter to future generations, initiated the construction of a modern Trading Centre, which will be finished before September 2014 at the expense of 200 million TJS (30 million euro) and will provide 3 thousand new jobs. During its construction, here over 1500 builders will be provided with jobs, from which 80% are citizens of Tajikistan.
It was expressed confidence that other national businessmen will also support such patriotic initiatives and will contribute by construction of production and social facilities, trading centre, administrative buildings to sustainable development of Tajikistan and its prosperity and progress.
After that, the Head of State Emomali Rahmon visited the central bus terminal, which was inoperative over the recent years, and opened a new central bus terminal established in its place.
As it was informed, the central bus terminal, after reconstruction of its central station building for buses and import of new transportation means, which was accomplished at the expense of 140 million TJS, was established by the Joint Stock Company “Holding Kontgroup Tajikistan” and now is ready for service.
40 passenger buses of international level and 40 taxis have been imported for fruitful activities of the terminal. Moreover, an import of another 300 vehicles and 50 modern buses is envisaged in the nearest future.
The President of the country Emomali Rahmon during his speech highly appraised the modern conditions created in this terminal and proposed to grant it the status of “International terminal”.
