The President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev on the occasion of the 20^th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, which reads, in part:

“I would like to note with satisfaction that over the period passed after the remarkable event the relationships of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan have dynamically developed and characterized by quality growth, both in bilateral and multilateral formats.

Today, these relations cover practically all spheres of life, where interests of our states coincide and are the factor of support of regional stability.

We appreciate the high level of Tajik-Kazakhstani modern ties and are interested in filling of their different aspects with new content with consideration of aspirations of our peoples and in accordance with requirements of time.

I express confidence that we, relying on existing potentials in our relations, will reach high peaks in their development by our joint efforts”.
